Update Problem W10 On Pc

Morning All
Following an update to my W10 Home PC yesterday I am having trouble booting up. Initially I get a message that "your PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart" etc. I have tried re-booting but get the same screen and message each time. Eventually another message came up asking me whether I wanted to repair etc or continue to W10. This I did, but when shutting down and re-booting I am greeted with the same message again. Any ideas how to get around this folks and clever people ? Many thanks

Try going to Windows/softwaredistribution/download and deleting everything in that folder. Then reboot the machine and check for upgrades again hopefully this will resolve your issue.

Sorry for the delay in responding - all seems ok now !! Don't know what happened or what I did differently but all of a sudden everything was ok. Thanks for answering.
