My Samsung Smart Tv Has Started Switching Itself Off

When I switch it on using the remote (there is no on/off switch on the Tv itself) it switches itself off after about 15 seconds. I then have to repeat the process a few times until it eventually stays on. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be please?
