I am trying to connect my android mobile to WiFi connection but the message AUTHENTICATION PROBLEM comes up. I am putting in the correct password but still no joy. I had no problem setting up WiFi on previous occasions so i would be grateful for any advice on how to solve this. Thank you all.

have you switched router off and on ? perhaps try reset.. there will be a wee hole somewhere at the back of router..should be marked reset..stick in end of cocktail stick/paper clip..hold down for 30 secs
make sure mobile is locking in on correct router !
And you are inputting correct password for router.
password is on bottom of router
Your router may have a button that needs to be pressed to allow a new wifi connection, as well as the password.

It may be marked wireless association.
You're a clever clogs, you Minty! :o)
The problem is more likely the phone, not the router.

Have you tried turning the phone off and restarting before each connection attempt.
Do you know anyone else with a phone who could try to connect, and that will tell you if the router is OK.

Thank you all for your advice. It was my mstake. I was entering my password in lower case instead of higher case. I should have known better but sometimes the simple things are made difficult when you start thinking too much!
