My garage is in a block of 6 so we all "share" the same roof. A hole has appeared in mine and somebody said that children quite often climb on the roof and perhaps that's how it happened. My problem is that the roof is asbestos and I am wondering how I can have the hole repaired. TIA.

could the six of u get together and replace the rooves?
Probably, the best way is to replace a sheet.
It's asbestos-cement. Very little actual asbestos in it. It's non-hazardous and not even notifiable.

You'll obviously have to use a modern equivalent of the same size. Longer won't matter, but the rolls in the sheet will have to match to make it fit.
This link (from a company who'd obviously like you to use their products and services, but you can ignore that bit) neatly summarises all of the options available to you:

if you have to replace a whole sheet maybe you could get a clear plastic one to let some natural light into your garage - assuming you would like light in the garage.
