I’ve just gone to get something out of the freezer , and everything has defrosted ! The plug is still on, and the green light is on the front, not the red warning light, but it’s warm inside and everything is ruined. Can’t believe it! Was fine yesterday. Haven’t had power cut. God all that food!!!

Am not sure about insurance, I think it does. But how do I prove to shop that I didn’t turn it off??
Question Author
Never had this before
Well when they take the freezer away it will be faulty, you won't have to prove it it will be really apparent. Take photos of your defrosted food for the insurer and then put a claim in ( never been asked for photos but might as well act on the safe side). x
