Visa Pament Problems

Has anyone else had problems paying with a Visa card this afternoon? Just got back from Waitrose and had to use cash as they said Visa was broken all across Europe?? Got home and can't add money to my lottery account either (different cards, different accounts).

I've used my Visa debit card 5 times today without an issue.

Problem began around 2.30pm.

I should keep more up to the date with the news. I was not happy to have to leave my shopping and walk 200 yds to a bank cashpoint.

Yes, same in Sainsburys. I had to go the cashpoint and get cash

I had to find £1.50 for my saver wrap.

Tried to deposit some money into my Willy Hill account mid-afternoon but deposit not verified. Immediately went to my bank account to make sure my fortune was still there. It was. So i went back to WH and was successful! Should've taken it as a sign because the next time i see the 3 horses i backed, they'll probably be on Blackpool beach :-(

I made a payment by Visa online tonight which went through with no problem.
