A bad teacher.
Do you mean a bad person who happens to be a teacher or a person who teaches badly?
Depends how you're defining 'bad' I suppose.

Big difference between poor performance and getting a bit stabby.
What's a bad student?
Hoppy, One who has no interest in learning.
A bad teacher fails many students. A bad student just the one.
Agreed OG, but, one bad student can hold back others with their constant need of a teachers time.
A bad student can disrupt many different classes.
A teacher who is 'bad' in the opinion of one student may be 'great' in the opinion of another. I was told 'Yer a *** teacher', when I asked him on what he based this perceptive comment 'Yer mek us do 'omework'. Naturally his results reflected his opinion, others got good results.
Only the year(s) they're there. And disruption is less detrimental and more easily dealt with than not being taught adequately at all.
The OP is not referring to a pupils assessment of a bad teacher.I presume he means one who teaches badly.
Some teachers can motivate a 'bad' student.
