I have a peugeot 306 and purchased a cd interchanger but have been told that my volume/radio control stick thing on my wheel will not work with certain cd modles. Can anyone tell me which manufacturers will allow me to continue using the volume control on my sterring wheel, as I dont want to lose this feature - thanks!

had to put a replacement on my omega halfords gave me all the info i needed.
When I went to get a CD player for a 306 I had about three years ago I asked the same question at a car audio shop and was told that I would have to get one of the Sony players starting at 250.

I understand that most steering wheel controls just need an extra component to connect it up, which can cost about 30 (I bought this for my Astra).
I added a Clarion cd autochanger to my 1997 306, as the original peugeot stereo was Clarion, it already had the control stick in and worked fine, would suggest sticking to the same manufacturer as the original stereo!
