Didn't Aidan console Sophie when she was upset because she didn't get some job or other?Don't remember anything else though.

He did indeed. Aiden also felt for Soph over the way Kate treated her during their brief relationship - he could see Soph had really fallen for Kate and knew she'd be hurt.
