Lifted the hydraulics, crunch sound, and oil pouring out of hydraulic pump

So switched off. If restart engine now will it cause damage?

If the pump loses all the oil can the tractor still be used other than for the hydraulic function?

Any help regarding this would be appreciated

Do you have to switch the pump on when you wish to use it ? If so then you should be ok but if the pump is always engaged when the engine runs then no.
