My daughter bought her first car, yesterday. We sorted the insurance with me as a named driver, but left Mr RR off, as the insurance company ask if you have any driving convictions in the last 5 years. His 5 years will be up in June. Anyhoo. After we bought it, I thought I'd give them a ring, just to see how much it would be to add him. It brought the cost down from £1114 to £971. Well worth the cost of a phone call.

Any one looking for a good deal for young drivers, should try Smart Wheels, they are part of More Than. She'll have a 'blackbox' fitted, but if she drives well, they give her cash bonuses of up to 10% of the premium, over the year.

She was. She didn't stop smiling all day, she was like the Cheshire Cat.
I'm just glad that I don't have to fork out for driving lessons anymore. Or cabs, come to that......
