every day on various television programmes we get competitions with valuable cash prizes, ie who wants to be a millionaire, Dickinson real deal etc.etc. Are these competitions genuine and do people really win the cash prizes. I never see winners names published

There are rules regarding such competitions - maybe contacting the Production Companies may glean some information, though I'm not sure the contestants would always want their details in the public eye.
