Saxby used to make the best pork pies
A place down from here, Lavenham, does a very nice pork pie though it needs a bit more jelly, can be too dry. Mamyalynne, a bit nearer home, have you tried Morris on Market Street, Farnworth, we get them exported to us when anyone's on a home trip.
Tesco used to crispy pastry pork pies but have now limited there range and last time I was there they had gone sqad be interested how you get pork pies flown to menorca because I would enjoy them as well
To tell the truth I don't like not sweet pies and it always looks a little strange. But if it's really worth it I'll try :)
