As an old OAP I wonder if anyone can tell me if Sky q is difficult to use. I realise younger generations are able to adapt to new technology but we older ones find it more difficult. Any of you older guys could give me an honest opinion as to whether a move from Sky+ to Sky q is a bridge to far. Thanks.

I have set a few up for friends and they are not intuitive or tailorable. Stick with the Sky+ as I have. The only good reason for having it is for UHD but, as of now, there isnt a great deal of channels using it.
I'm an OAP and I wouldn't bother with Sky Q. It's not cheap and I have everything I need with Sky+ including Catch Up TV and a lot of HD programs, that don't cost anything extra, above my basic condition.
Sorry- got distracted! Meant basic subscription.
Don't bother with SkyQ. The remote control is in itself a nightmare.
Stick to SKY+
