I love the flavour of this https://www.sainsburysmagazine.co.uk/recipes/desserts/no-churn-mango-and-coconut-ice-cream but I`m not mad on the texture of the dessicated coconut in it. I was thinking of substituting something for coconut milk. Which would you replace with coconut milk - the cream or the condensed milk?

You could get creamed coconut in a block and finely grate it.
If you don't like the texture ,why not replace the desiccated coconut with coconut cream or coconut milk?
i woulnt replace either of those ingredients
Why not bednobs?
Substituting with either of these may affect the resulting ice cream maybe, making it too runny.
i have to agree - those ingredients are good for ice cream

Thanks for the replies. I did wonder if substituting would affect the consistency. It comes out as quite a soft icecream and not rock-like which might be because the dessicated coconut puts air into the mix which might be another reason to leave it in.
M And S do a lovely coconut cream. It comes in tiny tins and is very thick. Maybe use a tin insead of some of the cream.
