I am not sure where to place this matter. Here we go ...

Where is UK Ltd’s industrial capability – and prowess?
Time and again one is confronted by media coverage of original UK ideas that are partially developed, only for them to be taken up by foreign companies. Perhaps what is needed is some sort of robust economic-scientific model.

In closing, I remember a remark by a German colleague: "The English invented the toilet-seat. But the Germans cut out the hole." Many a true word is spoken in jest.

I am sure we could safe-guard our technological innovations - and improve them to production ourselves.
We have considerable work ahead to reach Germany's GDP, let alone that of the Japanese.
