Could the second word be song (you have son there)
How many 4 letter relatives can you think of apart from'aunt'? I'm struggling.
I am the same Captain, if I could see another clue it might make sense!
I can only think of two others . . .

Nana

Wife
Papa, mama
Forgot gran there
So just one of the 4 is the name of a family member or both words??
Why do you think it is a song Pamuff? Could be be a book title or play/opera title?
Thanks peeps; bit more to work on now.
Wonder if the family member bit could be, say, last two letters of first word and first two letters of second word?
I did suggest something son(g) but Pam replied that it was the whole word so am not sure
Gill55 check out Pamuff's profile and there is another question regarding this theme, you might get an idea from there.
Don't really get it Cashier. I saw for the answer of Minnie it as the daughter-in-law but no idea how to get it! Think I will stick to the straightforward crosswords!
No, I don't get it either Gill55, that's why My name is not among those who answered. It sems a lot of clue for a short answer.
Another 4 letter one but iffy . . . . twin?

Thank you everybody for your interest, I was able to speak to the person who set the quiz and he inferred the answer may be a song, although perhaps I misunderstood. The only other 4 letter members I can come up with are actually 3 letters with an apostrophe i.e son's, mum's or dad's. I shall keep ploughing on.
Gill - re Minnie, a drama.

Minnie is the title character here...
