Any book lovers on here ever feel nostalgic for second hand bookshops?

But it seems a rarity now to actually find one. Years ago my home city had several dotted around the place and I'd spend hours in them, picking up a gem or two here and there. Now sadly all gone.
I know that times change and that nowadays people are using Kindles or simply ordering off Amazon but there is just that 'something' about the smell, feel, ambience etc of an old second hand bookshop.
Then again, perhaps I'm just a bit cuckoo... :-)

yeah they are still around - in fact I was browsing my father in laws books and picked out Vanity Fair 1848 - and said - this was printed in 1848 wasnt it
and he said - yes it is a first edition - I found it in a second hand shop....
1848 was good for books - vanity fair - Dickens Dombey and Son, Trollope the well known, kellys and o'kellys
But it seems a rarity now to actually find one

I love secondhand bookshops. We used to have a very good one in my nearest town. I think there is still one in the flea market in Weston Super Mare.
Another one I love is in my favourite hol destination in South Africa. But a bit far to go just to look at books :)
There's a nice one in Warwick, too.
