... laundry rack?! Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
All mine have snapped off (not by me) and now they won't stand up properly. Can I buy the blue plastic bits at the top on their own?

By the time you buy the little blue bits and pay for the postage .. you might as well buy a new airer.

Or you could use cable ties instead ?
Google - Plastic end caps.

You'll have to search for the right size, here's one site.

You don't mean the end caps do you?

Sorry.

They are two little blue end caps but connected together, to hold the two sides of the rack together, to stop them falling over. It's awfully wasteful to just buy new racks - hence wanting to see if I could buy just the blue caps!
Failing that, buy cable ties.
oops, just noticed alavahalf said the same thing, soz!

Not sure cable ties will work, but will try! The tiers need to able to move whilst connected to the blue caps. The pic shows them pretty well I think.
Is it anything like these things?

Looks like this type of thing, but this company has no stock sadly.

If you leave the cable ties loose enough for each section to swivel, they'll be fine. Don't pull them too tight.
Dont want to repeat myself but if you get the cable ties and fit two at each joint where the horizontals meet.. it wont fall apart.
Fit them diagonally, sort of criss cross. The most important thing is not to pull them too tight and this will stabilise the airer and still allow it to fold.
Believe me .. I have done it before !
Woops .. sorry Tilly .. you are ahead of the game !

if you have a car boot near by you may find an old rack you could take the blue bits off .i.ve seen loads at ours costing very little .
Great minds, Alava!
Parallel thinking .. or is it parralell ..el
Get a decent sized rubber band and wrap around one post a couple of times and then the other. That should allow for the movement you need if you don't pull it too tight.
