Just been announced that Arsene Wenger is to step down at the end of the season. Not totally unexpected, perhaps, given the current atmosphere at Arsenal, but let's not forget just what he did for the club. Whoever takes over has a big pair of shoes to fill.

it was reported earlier that Celtic have given Brendan Rogers permission to talk to Arsenal - please god no..
arksided....the documentary you mentioned (Ch5 next Monday)...not only is it NOT labelled as a Repeat, it is actually labelled "New" in next week's Radio Times.
I thought it a bit odd I missed it, if a repeat. I just saw it advertised on TV.

I think Rafa would be a distinct possibility if he doesn't get the required funds to strengthen the Newcastle squad for next season.
Quoi; couldn't resist looking at current odds and Rodgers is the 4/1 fav, followed by people such as Tuchel, Vierra, Loewe and Ancellotti! Thankfully the Ginger Mourinho is way down the list @ 40s:-)
I have a feeling it will be the monaco manager - Leonardo Jardim - with Mr Wenger taking his place.

Personally, i don't think he'll take on another managerial role. Said to be worth about £40m+, it's not as if he needs the hassle.
he will be compelled to - he is a football-aholic - 24 hours a day.
That famous saying about his 60th birthday - he wanted to watch a match and promised to put a candle on top of the telly.
