I have been off 12 days so far this school year ( year 10 ) and hopefully will have no more off ( except 2 days on the last days of school before summer holidays ) . I am worried that my attendance will be bad and school will send a letter . Although I have been off a lot I ahve a reason , I have a deviated septum which causes secondary/ chronic sinusitis ( which the school knows about ) ! It is where your sinuses get blocked which cause you to get ill much more often and are more susceptible to illnesses . Do you think this is a valid reason ?

Yes...if the school knows it should be fine. Don't worry.

Send a letter to where ? Surely your parents knew and approved of your time off unwell ?
what are the last 2 days for?
One can but assume your parents know about your medically condition and that you were not at school. And of course that they informed the school each time you were absent from school.

If that is the case then I don't think you have anything to worry about.
2 questions for you. Have you been confined to the hose for the 12 days you've already had off? Why are you having the last 2 days of this term off?
"Why are you having the last 2 days of this term off?"

Answers on a postcard, please :-)
Don't be surprised if a letter arrives, Schools are under pressure to maintain high attendance figures - as long as you/your parents know the causes are genuine you have to accept it.

At 10 years old my Daughter broke her arm quite badly during a PE lesson, I kept her off for the briefest time possible due the weight of the very large cast making her walk badly, that yerar's Parent evening was a string of tuts and sighs re the few days off despite the teachers being fully aware and in some cases present when the ambulance was called.

Such is life.
