Don't peel grapes either.
Ooh no. Don't peel grapes! Just wash them first.
No peeling here, and I use the stalks as well.
Not if they are nice and fresh, yes if they are ropey
Same as islay
Same as Islay...I also use the stalks but cut the very end off.
No! Do not wash them either! Wipe with clean cloth or use an old (clean) paint brush to remove any rubbish.
Enjoy.
I don't peel them and I eat the stalks.
never.
No ,not cultivated mushrooms. But if I have picked them in a field full of cow pats, Yes.
We tend to pick our own wild mushies so we peel em partly because things wee on them and partly because it's one way of making sure you haven't got a rogue one in there as the bad guys don't peel so easily. We always eat the stalks though.
I peel the flat ones if the skin is wrinkly or thick. I just wipe the little ones.
nope, if you have to clean, a paper towel with just the minimal amount of aqua on it....the mushrooms will absorb the H20....
What kind of person peels grapes?
We were on holiday, and a mother was feeding her child grapes while he was in the pool (he must have been at least 11). My OH was quite amused by this so asked her 'Why don't you peel them for him as well?' She replied 'Oh no, I don't do that any more.'
I peel or wipe depending on what I'm using them for and where I've picked or bought them......but

I always cut them in half ever since I discovered a family of maggots squirming around in one..... :-)
Mushrooms are a high percentage H2O anyway.
Wash, wipe, or just use, you probably won't spot the difference; although you might feel better about eating cleaned wild mushrooms.
I peel the big ones and not the small, Use the stalks of the small ones but not the big flat ones as the stalks tend to be woody. They make good soup though
I don't peel any veg....roast potatoes with their skins on are delish. Only time i peel anything is if i want it mashed.
