Parliamentary Democracy

I have just been reading about a tweet that Diane Abbot wrote in relation to the bombing in Syria. She wants to know whether the people who decided on the action understand Parliamentary Democracy. Would these be some of the same people who don't understand democracy in the Brexit vote? Sorry to bring Brexit up again but it made me chuckle.

Parliamentary democracy is nothing to do with decisions abut the sort of bombing raids we saw by the US, Britain, and France in Syria last week. If anyone is betraying their lack of understanding of parliamentary democracy it is Diane Abbott.
I see, re Brexit, you have cunningly omitted the word "parliamentary" :-)
