I have been up all night.
Can't sleep.
Using my time to catch up on the latest prophecy news.
About a third of the Bible is prophecy, and most of it is concerned with end times. OUR times.
I am not trying to preach, or lecture.
I do urge you to make a concerted effort to research end time prophecies on YouTube. There are Plenty of them
Even if you don't believe them they will entertain you.
Every time I switch on the news, it is the pieces of the prophecy jig saw puzzle pieces getting closer to locking together.
Please please give it a go.
Approach it without bias and check out the evidence.
I humbly beg you to try it, and respectfully hope you get something out of it.
Thank you.
Will you?

prophesied
...the crime of killing professors?
:o)
vulcan; Thanks, but I don't think "It was prophesied" (as in the past tense) is right, is it? In fact the more I say it more nonsensical it sounds.
I think James Thurber said, if you lie on the bed and say any word over and over again and you will lose your mind, - too late for me.
//I don't think "It was prophesied" (as in the past tense) is right, is it? //

Can't see anything wrong with that, Khandro.
I love the idea that there’s some sort of ‘latest prophecy news’.
“Famine over Western Europe has now been downgraded to moderate whilst pestilence has been upgraded to category 2 over the Middle East. Sporadic outbursts of buboes may be experienced in outlying areas”
The verb is to prophesy. To form the past tense change the y to ie, hence prophesied.
Jack; Yes that sound right now, like multiply and it was multiplied ?
Hard having a past tense for something predictive ain’t it.
Although I’m not an expert on the prophecies contained within the bible – I’m pretty sure that there is a prophecy in the bible concerning the end of the world, that it will not happening until everyone on earth is aware of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I can confidently predict that the world will come to a natural demise, in around a billion years’ time, before the above biblical prediction comes true – and so you (and everyone else) can stop fretting about the imminent end of the world.
^^ well put. :0)
that was for Zacs
I never did have much faith in prophesies (obviously), but I was lucky enough to be well aware of the 2011 Endtimes prophecy, courtesy of Harold Camping. Knew a guy who was totally taken in by it all; long since lost the record of the emails back-and-forth about it, but in short, he was disappointed (pbviously) to see his faith in the prophecy shattered by the rather more predictable fact that nothing happened.

Still, I felt a bit sorry for the people who were sucked in by it, and their desperation through the day when it became apparent that they were wrong. Hopefully their lives weren't ruined too much.
//I have been up all night//
Lucky you.

//Can't sleep//
Oh!

//Using my time to catch up on the latest prophecy news//
That should send you to sleep then.

//About a third of the Bible is prophecy//
No its not, you're telling porkies for Jesus.

//I am not trying to preach, or lecture//
Well that would be a refreshing change!

//I do urge you to make a concerted effort to research end time prophecies on YouTube//
I was researching this a long time before the internet came along. Its bunkum.

//There are Plenty of them//
Certainly are. There are a lot of loonies out there in You Tube land.

//Even if you don't believe them they will entertain you//
Nah! Not really. I'd rather stick rusty pins into my eyballs than listen to any more of this religious drivel.

//Every time I switch on the news, it is the pieces of the prophecy jig saw puzzle pieces getting closer to locking together//
You havnt heard of cognitive bias then?

//Please please give it a go//
Please see the comment about rusty pins and eyeballs.

//Approach it without bias and check out the evidence//
Without bias?? What? Like yourself you mean??

//I humbly beg you to try it, and respectfully hope you get something out of it//
Something other than despair at peoples stupidity you mean?

//Thank you.//
My pleasure

II Thessalonians 2
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

It is not possible to know or estimate (by signs, calendars, CNN, etc.) when The Day of Christ will begin as God is keeping it a secret. We only know that it will commence with the shout of the Archangel Gabriel.

I Thessalonians 4
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Even before He created our world, God knew every event it would undergo (including His arch-enemy, the devil, gaining power as the god of this world), and He knew that in sending His son, victory over all negatives would take place. The victory that awaits us will be so profound that its impact will far outweigh any negative experience that any of us has ever had or will ever have.

II Corinthians 4
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

As children of God, we now, and will for eternity, enjoy the benefits and blessings of being part of the greatest family experience to ever take place, that of the family of God.
