I can see where Theland is coming from too, but the point is that he is confusing two statements:

1. I believe God does not exist.

2. I do not believe God exists.

The two are logically inequivalent.
"How can you be so sure?"

Occam's razor helps.

It seems to me that as many scientists don't believe that evolution is possible, and that goes for abiogenesis, then a creator God is more plausible than the momentous odds of random natural reactions producing anything worthwhile, let alone a single protein, the odds being 10 to the power of 160. There are only about 10 to the 40 atoms in the whole universe.
YouTube is a mine of information for checking out the opinions of famous scientists.
//There are only about 10 to the 40 atoms in the whole universe.//

There are more than a billion times that many silicon atoms in the Earth alone.
Yeah, it's closer to 10^89 atoms, but never mind.

Also, this obsession with natural reactions being "random" is, presumably, deliberately designed to pull the wool over the eyes of the gullible. Chemical reactions are not nearly so random as all that.
What was god created from, theland?
If there was a God, or there is a God . then why is this such a cruel World at this present time?.
God, as He's widely portrayed, is hardly the best example for live and let live.
//It seems to me that as many scientists don't believe that evolution is possible//

Eh?

Oh. There was me taking this question seriously. How foolish I now feel.

I have had a light go on.
I don't care what you believe.
I will present my opinion.
Accept it or ridicule me, I don't care. Your problem.
//Accept it or ridicule me, I don't care. Your problem//
I don't find ridiculing you a problem ;-)
It's not ridiculing- just a couple of questions asked. Do you want to answer them?
I believe you ridicule yourself, Theland.
Theland's playing the martyr again, suffering for his faith.
Theland - // Accept it or ridicule me, I don't care. Your problem. //

You should have got used to the smell of burning martyr by now - the odour is around you constantly.
I think most people probably are Agnostics as I consider myself. We dont try to prove there is no Gods as no-one knows. A true Atheist hates religion and tries to disprove it.
It would never occur to me to try to disprove religion. It is up to believers to prove to me that they are right. Which they can't.
I prefer terms "non religious" or "without belief in entities".
I don't accept that non-believers possess any sort of "ism", I see being without belief in an entity as a default and as the person grows from infancy they can CHOOSE to take on a belief in an entity (or multiple entities). What you are saying sounds like some sort of "opt out" where you have to make a belief out of disbelief!
