Is there a gadget which can be connected to the TV in the sitting room which will transmit a signal wirelessly to a screen in the kitchen?

If you're going to try an AV sender, which is what I think kidas is suggesting, it will only work if you connect it to something like a Virgin or Sky box. You can't connect it to your TV, because like Chris already said, you probably won't have an output on your TV. https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Question1293449.html

Sorry, but I think the answer to your question has to be 'No'.

While modern TV's have a host of INPUT options available (such as HDMI, Scart, A/V, etc), I can't recall encountering one which has any form of OUTPUT (other than for sound only) available. Without such an output to connect a device to, there's no point in manufacturers making the type of device you're seeking.
A few years ago we wanted to do this and bought a gizmo that connects to each TV and beams the programme from one (the master) to the other.
Search on "Wireless Transmitter and Receiver TV"

or "Wireless sender TV"

But it might be best to read reviews before buying.

Have to say, however, that the result was not good. They may heve improved since then.

Easier to connect an aerial lead to the kitchen TV. Could control from the kitchen then too.
