....how do you feel about or deal with mobile phones as you're serving a customer?

My glasses broke and as I sat at one of the little optician tables waiting for them to be fixed the phone of the very elderly customer at the table to my right rang with an alarming and long tone......
He answered which may be fair enough as he was waiting for his assistant to return....

As he was speaking loudly the phone of the nearly as old lady to my left rang with exactly the same annoying tone....and despite being in the middle of a consultation and glasses fitting with the optician she fumbled around for it......answered and had a fairly lengthy conversation with a relative.

I'm laid back about most things.....but I think I'd be a bit miffed if I was having to wait for customers/clients to chat on a mobile phone.....x

I work at tesco and the amount of people coming into the shop and not noticing other people either customers or staff drive me mad!

Look at my current avatar and guess where I'll be in a couple of weeks! The grandchildren, who we're treating to the trip, are sooooooooooo excited, especially that AntnDec will be broadcasting live from Universal whilst we're there!
I know how I felt as a potential customer when the assistant couldn't get off her blurdy phone.

Zebo, enjoy !!

Have a wonderful time, Zebo....I love Disney....... :-)
Thank you I'm sure we will, we did the same thing for OH's 70th so they never expected this for my 70th and our Golden Wedding. We've got lots of rides pre-booked and because we're staying in the same road as before we'll be able to hit the ground running! I'm first on line for the big rides.

A local butcher has put up a notice to the effect that 'If you are busy on your 'phone, I will continue to be busy with the next customer.'

I congratulated him on it and he told me that I was not alone. :)

I'm still chuckling at Jahulaye's justification for this rudeness, that it might be the benefits office calling.
