Ok peoples I need serious help. Bank account has recently been hacked. They have emptied current account and life savings. Reported this to banks fraud dept ony to be told that it was me and the case was closed with no reimbursment. Apparantly my online account was accessed from my ip address therefore it was me!!. Well it wasn't me. So whats happened? and how can I prove its not me. Someone has suggested that there is a log of the keys I have physically pressed somewhere jn the depths of the computer. If so how or who can do this for me. Some of the money has gone to pay a barclay card so surely it must be traceable but they arent interested. I think I need some help and guidance. ANY help appreciated.

The exact same thing happened to me and I had my current a/c emptied along with my overdraft. Nobody knows my password or info relating to my a/c.
It seems I bought a TV in Southend, a HiFi in Windsor and made no end of cashback withdrawls in the midlands at various supermarkets .. all on the same afternoon. The bank had picked it up and made me aware. The strange thing was that they let whoever it was carry on and completely empty my a/c., instead of shutting it down. They went on to pay gas bills, electric bills and to top it all, they paid someones tax bill .. straight to HMRC.
The Police love names and addreses when they are after fraudsters.
It took five days to get all the money back in my a/c and I only had to sign a disclaimer saying that I knew nothing about any of these transactions.
Got a feeling my bankcard was cloned somehow ?
Yes, cards can be cloned- same happened on one of mine but it was jst a small Tesco trasaction 200 miles away- but I think these transfers from wallis were made by online transfer.
I think things may be resolved or made clearer when the bank responds to the complaint. If there is no satisfactory result I would go to Bank Ombudsman or get a solicitor to write to the bank demanding proof that wallis was complicit
