I didn't know this but his election leaflet stated that Labour would negotiate leaving the EU.

Gromit, bloody hell what a speech, and all done and dusted in just over 20 mins, you should have been an MP.
All politicians will say pretty much whatever they think people want to hear, until they're elected of course.

Once they're elected that's when we find out the promises were merely aspirations, and policies need to change to match the current circumstances, and difficult decisions need to be taken, and [ insert weasel words here ].

Corbyn's going to be doing an awful lot of respinning promises as aspirations should he ever get into power. He's already made a start with tuition fees.
I'm a little cautious about believing this, purely because I remember a quote doing the rounds when May first became PM. It allegedly showed that during her initial campaign to become an MP, she had used a number of homophobic slogans, but later turned out to be fake. Not sure the images mocked up by the sun are enough to convince me.
To be honest, even if it's true it's a non-story Krom. 'Politician who said something a long time ago now says something different'.
Well yes, quite.

or even ..Pot (the Sun) accuses Kettle (Blair) of dishonesty.
// Breaking news:: Boris Johnson found to be a dishonest. Telling porkies on his Brexit bus,
If Bliar had had his way we would be in the Euro now, bailing out Greece.
One good thing about Gordon Brown is that he stopped him.
Did anyone else notice that in Bliar's speech at the EU this week he used the pronoun 'we' regarding his view that they needed to change to make it possible for the UK to stay? Pretty obvious where his alliance lies.
The man is a creeping sideshow of dishonest intent. Self fulfilling his desire for wealth, power, prestige. You can't help but like him.
19.34 David Small, that reads like a very good description of Boris Johnson.
