So tonight I've made what is suggested to be a quick and easy mid week meal, found in the Guardian, by my dearly beloved.
It's butternut squash, onions, green peppers, rice and stuff, started on the hob and finished in the oven.
Apart from involving a lot of chopping, pre frying and pre roasting, its not really that tasty. Or that quick and easy.
However, we will eat it. Tonight. And tomorrow. And probably for the next month.
And he will drown his sorrows afterwards, having watched the rugby. Whereas I drowned my sorrows before not watching the rugby.
Are you having anything interesting to eat this evening? I do hope so..
