i have a ham joint in slow cooker and just prepared a bread and butter pudding made with hot cross buns , not tried before ,i usually use fruit loaf x

I make sultana cake twice a week and soak the sultanas in brandy or whisky for 24 hours or so before baking.   Would it be okay to soak large quantities in a jar and keep for longer?  Commonsense... ...
