I too am gutted about Christie's run of bad luck and unfortunate results. However I think she brought the latest one on herself. She was clearly bumping and barging her way around the race. And in a previous race she put her arm down on the ice in front of another skater when there was no room for her.

Shame for her. I like her. I hope she does come back for another go in Beijing.

I don't know much about this sport, but 3 disqualifications at the last Olympics, and 3 falls including at least one disqualification at this one would suggest something not quite right somewhere.
