That video soon went dark!

I no longer throw toys/balls very high for my mutts having read about the dreadful injury suffered by Nigel - Monty Don's gorgeous retriever.
Nigel just carries his tennis ball from one side of Longmeadow to another now. Lovely dog.

Seemingly sticks can cause some horrific injuries - piercing the back of the dog's throat.

I don't know much about Nigel but accidents happen. Neither of my two mutts were very good at catching things mid-air.
My dog can't catch. He waits for things to hit him on the nose then picks them up from the floor.
