With regard to sleeping on the floor though, I'll give you one important suggestion: Make sure that you go to sleep next to something solid that you can use to pull yourself up on when you wake up! That's written from experience; I sometimes find that sleeping on the floor can help me get through aches and pains but the good work is rapidly undone if I have to put myself through pain in order to be able to get up from the floor!
