Except, neither are one of the fifteen that are entered normally.
Hello everybody..........so long since anything like a thread on here. Not to say (as it is Mr O I am not totally confused) and haven't the faintest which are normal and which are not, just thankful that I have managed to actually complete a few clues! Hello Doc HH, how goes it? All helpful hints from any quarter are gratefully received (PS. Doc. Ginger Mog is going strong!)
hello devadolly ... if you are still at a loss on how to enter the "partially treated " there is a spoiler on the Crossword Forum EV 1316 thread
Hello devadolly,
It all goes well, still plugging away at EVs, with a reasonable degree of success. Spotted this one was a Mr O, and I immediately thought about you.

Herself gave up work just over a year ago, so we have been ramping up the amount of time we spend on holiday, just over 10 weeks last year, 4 holidays in total. On target for similar this year, except none will be short haul, cannnot stand flying in cramped economy class. Oz in Emirates Business Class last year was acceptable.
Pleased to hear Ginger Mog is going strong, how is his trainee? Are you and Himself still farming? Any sign of retirement? Are you keeping up all your exotic holidays?

Bradford's gives a good hint under Neccessary, and "partially treated" in the rubrick is also a good hint! I got what was going on from 1a and 2d, then 24a, 6d and 23d. 9d, 12a, 17a and 19a confirmed it. I think that 22a, a word I had never heard of explains a common name for a Queen!

Sorry saladdodger for hijacking your thread!
Thanks Roslyn & Doc, will go to your suggestions.
