Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good Christmas. Here is January's Onwards and Downwards thread. I have a house full of chocolate and wine but am now happy to pace myself after a week of over-indulgence. What about you?

Allegedly up 0.2 lbs. Apparently it was a bad weekend. :-(
You can join me on the naughty step,OG just make sure you bring a cuppa .
Dunno about the cuppa: treated myself to a coffee machine in the new year. Wanted one for ages but there was no justifying the cost. But I decided I wasn't getting any younger so got one anyway. 2 extra strong mugs every morning now ! But the instant isn't being used up. Luckily I use sweetener not sugar ;-)
Good morning all! Down a kilo this week but this last lap is going slowly. I don’t care. I’ve done it and that’s the main thing. Now the job is no back sliding.
Congrats on your coffee machine OG. I use a coffee press pot and have an electric coffee bean grinder.....the aroma of the ground beans is heavenly. I’m sure that you feel the same about the whiff of your freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy!!

Good morning all, I’m the same give or take an ounce or two. Does anybody else have "hungry days?" I had one yesterday. Thinking of food or seeing a food advert on the telly sets them off. I find that stopping whatever I’m doing and doing something else usually helps.
Despite being as good as I could I have stayed the same . Yes xstitcher I agree about the food adverts .
I have lost half a stone since January 1st. Mind you, I have been ill so I don't recommend it as a way of losing weight. :-)
Exactly the same this Wednesday as last. That only happens once in a belewe moon.

Aye, sometimes one feels a need to eat no matter how much one has to try to stifle the desire/need for more.
