That's very interseting, I recall sitting on the end of the bed watching it being torn down, I had tears streaming down my face.

I remember seeing the people hitting it with hammers and climbing on it
I didn't think it was that sad.
I remember seeing it being built.
Maybe some slight confusion with the Wailing Wall, OG, easily done.
I remember going to visit East Berlin and going through the wall on the train. When we used to fly into the airport there, we had to fly down an old air corridor at 10,000ft.

Me too ... David hasselhoff has that effect on me as well.
Our son was stationed in Germany and was at the wall when it came down. He came home with two lumps of it - one for us and one for his gran and grandad. We now have them both. Just lumps of stone that are not very elegant looking but cannot bring myself to get rid of them.

Unbelievably touristy I know but I bought a small piece of it while visiting the Checkpoint Charlie museum.
