Bt Sports-Which I Have Just Cancelled. Today They Have Just Raised My Monthly Subscription From £27.99 To £35.25

so I cancelled . My contract is up in April . So if I carry on then it will cost me another £70.50 plus a cancellation fee .They took £35.25 out of my bank today and I can no longer receive BT Sports programmes . They are crooks. What did I pay £35.25 today for

You could always try renegotiating although maybe it's too late for that now. I'm not sure how the contract could have allowed such increases without notice and within the contract period- seems an odd situation

I'm not sure why there was a fall in Dec.
How much notice did you get of the increase and was there an option to reject it and terminate at renewal?

You seem to have had over a century of sport for not that much money, seems like a good deal. :-)

If you had waited until your contract was finished, you would not have had to pay a cancellation fee. That is for cancelling early. Why didn't you ask them why they had increased your payment during a contract, which seems wrong to me. If you had discussed the issue instead of just cancelling, you might have been able to reach some agreement. I fear it's too late now. The reason you have still been charged is probably because a cancellation is not usually instantaneous I'm afraid.
