And if so how can they get away with such obvious racism?

White Labour members will pay more than ethnic minorities to hear Jeremy Corbyn give a speech, it emerged last night.

Tickets are £40 to attend the East Midlands Labour rally in Loughborough on February 17, but the charge for black and minority ethnic (BAME) members is £30.

I must say though, from another part of the article I do agree with Momentum wanting to slash over inflated council salaries.

If stupid white people and stupid black people want to pay to see Conrad Corbyn chunder on then let them waste their money. At least it won't go on beer and fags.
It is racism but I'm not surprised some would defend it.

Whether you are black, white or any shade in-between ... if you can afford 30 quid to attend this *** then you have too much money.

I agree with naomi, if anything it is patronising treating BAME people this way.
I'm astonished there are people on this thread justifying and defending a charging structure that is, without question, racist.

as a demanding AOP - I expect something off most things or free !

I'm not. Some people are quite predictable.
