I am not going to say "oh let me google that for you" but surely if you just tell her then that is not helpful? maybe you could look through her story books with her to see if there are any other words meaning slow in them....or help her to use a dictionary or children's dictionary website?

Thanks for the replies ..... I have been trying to find simple words to describe 'not fast' that a 4 year old would actually use. It is very difficult !

I think that 'homework' at any age is a good thing, but I also think the teachers should think a little more about what they ask the children to do. I taught for 30+ years and before giving out homework I would make sure that it could be done by the age group concerned. Thanks again for your replies. ;o)
Gosh....this isn't as easy as it seems for a four year old......I think if I was doing this with my four year old I'd title it....
My Words for Slow...

Perhaps?.....Gx

What does this even mean or am I being totally thick at not getting it??
Aren't synonyms a bit advanced for a 4year old? I have many adult friends who wouldn't have a clue what a synonym is!
