Retiring Lynx Helicopters

Four Lynx helicopters are performing a commerative flight today - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-42663383

They have just landed outside Hereford (about 5 minutes ago - saw them from my living room window) so keep an eye out for them if you live anywhere on the flight path (map in link).

Thanks for the link, sher. Quite surprised this post attracted no comment :(

No doubt the response from at least those RAF stations shown on the map was suitable.

It's been quite busy helicopter-wise this week - as well as the usual helicopters, we've had the four Lynx and today we had a chinook (probably my favourite) and an osprey (really cool, v noisy but ugly as sin).
