Looks like we need a new boiler! Can anyone give me a rough idea on how much it's going to cost please?

What type of boiler are you looking for ?
Question Author
A combi central heating boiler.
That is for this company to do the work but it may give you some idea when you get quotes
Same here, between £1500/£1700 for us.

Thanks emeritus.
We had ours fitted just before Christmas it was under a £1000, depends on the one you want ours was a Ideal with a 10 year warrantee, if you are in our area I could give you the plumbers Number.

We've got someone coming out to give us a quote but I was just wondering what sort of figure we were looking at. Thanks all!
If I can Kath, depending what work that's involved get a few quotes.
Ask British Gas then divide by three for a fairly accurate figure.
Please try to avoid Ferroli as we had very bad experience, it broke down in the first 6 months and was always a hassle for 6 years till ve could afford another one. Now we have Vokera and are very happy.
We've just had a new Worcester boiler fitted, and new windows. The house is like toast now. OH would know how much he paid for boiler + fitting, but don't want to mention it in case he remembers I haven't paid my half.

About £2,000 if you go for a decent brand and a reliable plumber.
I used to work for a plumber and he'd always recommend Worcester Bosch.
