Is it ok to put leftover cooked veg like carrots and peas in green waste/compost? or does it all have to striclty be raw?

well it will rot down, but will also encourage vermin, so best not. I have had to stop putting any kitchen waste in my compost bin, raw or cooked because of the rat problem mentioned in a previous thread

Best I just eat up all my veg in future then!
Clearly remember instructions from a holiday cottage landlady who was into this in a big way. NOTHING COOKED AND THAT INCLUDES BREAD. Sorry, not shouting just putting her emphasis on it.

I think that there is no problem to put leftover cooked vegetables like carrots and peas in green waste. You can put all your waste material in the waste bin. You can also read more about green disposal http://wastedisposal.zumvu.com/what-is-waste-disposal
