Really don't think I'm going to like the upcoming story line. I watch soaps for a bit of light hearted entertainment, we all know awful things go on in the world, can't we escape them for a while?

Long gone are the hilarious story lines and one liners from the likes of Blanche, Fred Elliot, Bet and Alec Gilroy to name but a few. It's all got to be about misery and depression and raising 'awareness' of the latest 'issues'. Absolute load of rubbish.

Reg Holdsworth never gets a mention on the nostalgia / celebration shows - he was the worst character of the entire series.
