gollob......LOL
I met my OH over 30 years ago. He was my second serious boyfriend. We fell out, we lost contact (no mobiles, FB etc) and we never saw each other again. I never stopped thinking about him though. On 27 December, having put down a deposit on a new house and resolved to move on with a life that was going nowhere, I spotted him on our community facebook page. I messaged him. We met a few days later and the years rolled away. He supported me on my journey back from hell and on Christmas Day he asked me to marry him. He had been to see my father and ask his permission and presented me with the most beautiful diamond ring. Tomorrow we are viewing a property together.

Since then I have believed in "Happy Ever After".

Romantic it was not,
but we have been Married for over 30 years now ;o)
could've been me !! sigh... lol

Our paths certainly crossed a few times in the 80's minty, who knows?
;o)
tee hee.. how is Mrs B ?

Improving slowly, getting there, thanks.
That's good to hear, pass on my best xx
I met my husband when I was 17 and he was 18 at College and we have been together ever since!
Despite my mother trying to split us up on countless occasions and his mother doing the same - we walked away from my mother but he was there to support me and when she died with me never talking to her again - he was there.
He was there when I miscarried our 2 babies and let me mourn even though he was forgotten about.
He was there as I got fatter and fatter but he constantly told me that he loved me no matter what.
We celebrate our 22nd anniversary this year and I love him more than I ever did before.
My OH wasnt there when I miscarried our baby, Islay - he didnt know about it until last year. I know where you've been with that though.

It's made us stronger.
Its heartbreaking Barmaid.
I truly never realised how much it affected my husband till a couple of years afterwards.
But yes your right it makes us stronger.
