Thank you for brining the article to my attention.
I know exactly where she's coming from, I still have more weight to lose and the excess skin is already depressing, the surgeon estimates I will have about 2 stone worth!

I will be going through the ops, I will also apply for funding via the NHS as my doctor and consultant are very sympathetic, but I am also realistic that I will probably have to pay for it myself.

The gentleman in the article must have gone some to have put on so much weight again and stretch his stomach so much! He put himself at so much risk just to feel 'normal'

I don’t think the bio oil works indefinitely but the skin certainly continues to stretch. A friend of mine went to enormous measures – operations etc., to lose weight, and did – but she’s huge again now. Such a shame.
If you read the article provided it's extremely informative and worth discussing, as for " the covens, sniding emails" let's at least on this thread just keep on subject ?
Bum, that's me stuffed we no longer have a bath.

On the plus side I can now cancel the tanked of Bio Oil :-)
Oops, sorry. As I said it was an idle enquiry.

I'm being overly cautious as it seems just about every post on AB requires a subsequent apology these days.

Have a nap if you're tired AOG.
Islay - sorry, I can't offer any practical advice but I can say that I think you've shown great courage recently. I'll add my congratulations on your marvellous progress so far & proffer my best wishes for a successful & comfortable outcome to the procedures you're going to undertake :-)
Absolutely not, just be nice to have an adult interesting thread without interference ,
