Happy New Year to you all. Hope those of you with hangovers are feeling less delicate now.

Have you made any resolutions? If not resolutions have you made plans of things you would like to do or achieve in 2018? Or are you more of a "take it as it comes" type?

Usual things. Drink less and do more exercise, but they won't last. I joined a yoga class just before Christmas, and I really want to keep that up.

Happy New Year Barmaid,

Just going to take it as it comes and extract as much fun as possible from it.
I've never kept a resolution so don't make them anymore, and I have no firm plans, yet. Fingers crossed, this year will be kind, and hopefully, bring me a couple of holidays and a flatter stomach!
Sukkitansee for me...
Sorry. HNY to you too.
Good afternoon, for the first time in 25 years I have not made the usual resolution to lose weight!! Instead it is to get fit, enjoy life and go shopping more!
Also to get a knock out outfit for MIL's 80th birthday!!
You'll have to get a scorcher of a dress just to pee her off.
Happy New Year, I know it will be special for you.x

I take things as they come and hope for the best.
Lol Rocky that's what I was thinking that or a pair of corset trousers and a nice white balloon sleeved shirt - will keep you up todate I won't start shopping until March for it.
Take it as it comes. I try really hard to be bothered about things and I just can't find the bother in me :-)
I'm going to put things in motion for retirement later this year. But first I have to sort out my US pension. That's going to be a *****.
I've also accumulated a LOT of junk in the 12 years I've been here. Time for a clear out. That will take a year!
HNY Barmaid and all. I stayed at home on my own with Little Tiggs and relaxed having been to KidZania earlier on. Was pretty tired when we got home and quite happy to be Billy no mates for the night.

I haven't made any resolutions as such but do need to lose all the weight I've put on since November. Probably a stone! :o((
Hopefully get fitter and healthier!
Always take it as it comes I think, certainly do your best to make things you want to happen happen, and live by your honour whilst doing it, you know be kind to those less fortunate, stick up for those being bullied, make your word your bond etc, but generally go with the flow, you never know where you might end up :)
Made my last resolution about 14 or 15 years back and have stuck to it - it was never to make any more NY resolutions. If you don't make them, you can't break them:-) Happy New Year to all.
Happy new year Barmaid, I have not made any resolutions. That way I can't break them.
I did actually think of a resolution the other day but I have forgotten it. The only one I kept was several years ago when I decided I wasn't going to do any more "Can you get me" I`m not a duty free shopping service. Luckily, people seem to have got the hint and they don't ask anymore
My partner and I sat down last night and made a list of places we want to go, things we want to get better at (him cooking, me piano) and a few other bits and bobs. Not resolutions as such, but a list of things to aim for :-)
I have made a resolution to spend less time on AB. I have books to read, projects to finish and stuff to do. Enough is enough (after tonight) :-)
Keep fit, less smoking and drinking, stop using tan beds so much and try and learn French or Spanish online with the time I waste.
