All a matter of opinion of course but I’ve tried hard to be a fan of this programme. Several of my friends have been on it and I feel a bit disloyal, but I can’t help finding it incredibly irritating. Both the contestants and the host.

Itchy....I too, was a fan but have gone off it lately.

Its worth watching for Ms Coren, of course, but I will agree that its contestants do have a touch of irritation about them.

I can see how you'd feel that, Ich....but I must admit I love OC...it just fascinates me that some folk can see an answer or connection so quickly.....strange minds I think....and that's interesting....

I'm fairly okay on the wall.......must play that on the laptop again...haven't done that for an age......x

I watch this around my mates (when hes remembered to record it), got to be the most challenging quiz on tv. Knowledge AND lateral thinking.

My favourite programme of all time, even though I very rarely get any of the connections. The knowledge some of these people have is fantastic. I hope 'they' bring it back to Monday evenings permanently. Why they moved it to Friday is a mystery.

I find the knowledge exhibited on University Challenge much more impressive especially when you consider the age of most of the teams
