Ok a bit of a long shot this. But can anyone remember a song that was used as a playout for the final Big Brother's Little Brother? It was an American indie low fi sound tune (guitars and the like) and the last line of the chorus went "these could be the best days of our life" I think.

It doesn't exactly fit the description, but the line 'these could be the best days of our lives' features in Digsy's Dinner by Oasis.

yeah i know the one you mean. But no it's not Oasis
Are you sure they're the words?

Best Days by Cord contains the words "these could be the best days of our lives" but I think that's a new song.

An American indie song with guitars that contains the lyrics "I hope you had the time of your life" is Green Day's 'Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)'. That's just the type of unimaginative song that Big Brother producers would use at the end of a series.

Haha. I'm afraid spot on it is Green Day!

Cheers, been bugging me for ages!
My pleasure!
