Have just set up the phone but unlike my earlier model when it is in it's cradle on the answering machine the display does not light up - when I pick up the phone to use it the display is bright orange.

What have I done wrong please. I set the display to Contrast 1.

My old phone shoed blue all the time

Mine is not that model but they are BT. I have to set my screensaver to on then I get blue screen showing the clock if set to off screen is just black..

Thanks for that - yes there is a 'setting' to switch on and it now works!
